Ask Liz

New perspectives for Inspiration and Motivation

Q. How can I manifest the things I want? -- G.B., Boca Raton

A. Manifesting is the bringing of ideas and desires into physical form.

There is now a groundswell movement under way; we are beginning to understand how our minds and thoughts contribute to the reality we experience.

The ability to manifest our dreams is not limited to mystics or saints; everyone possesses it.

The Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. The simplest definition of this law is "like attracts like." You get what you think about, whether wanted or unwanted.

You are a living magnet, so it's not the words you use, it's how you feel about the words that you use.

Follow these basic steps for manifestation:

1. Get very clear on what you want.
2. Visualize and raise your vibration about it. Feel excited; act as if you have already received it.
3. Allow it.
4. Take inspired action.
5. Allowing your desire, can come to you very quickly, if you have no resistance to receiving it.

When you remove the doubt that you can have what you want, you are allowing, and that is how it manifests.

Every time you use the words "serendipity," "coincidence" or "synchronicity," know that everything is falling into place and The Law of Attraction is working in your life.

Watch your thoughts. Steer them purposefully as you remember you are an integral part of a divine universe. As Ella Wheeler Wilcox said, "Thoughts are things endowed with wings."
