EILEEN TANNE, Co-Publisher of WEC

eileentanneEileen Tanne has over a decade of successful experiences marketing to women.  Through her company, ET Connections, Eileen has produced events for women for Chancellor Media radio stations, Clear Channel Communications WALK 97.5, and marketed Ms. Magazine’s Ms. Millennium Conference and special events with Gloria Steinem

In 2002, she co-produced the highly acclaimed Women, Business, Spirituality: A New Formula For Leadership held in New York City.  In 2004, Eileen worked with B. Litrell Communications Corp on the programming for the Office Depot Success Strategies for Businesswomen National Conference which attracted over 1,000 businesswomen.  Eileen is the founder of www.LIWomen.com the online resource for the women of Long Island, co-founder of www.WomensEducationCenter.com and www.Floridabusinesswomen.com.

She has been a national trustee of the National Association of Mothers’ Centers and is a founding board member of the US Women’s Chamber of Commerce Long Island Chapter.  She received Women On The Job’s Advocacy Award for her commitment to women’s issues and is on the advisory board of The Work-Life Balance Institute for Women, Inc.

Eileen has two daughters, two grandsons and lives in South Florida with her husband Mitch.



 

KAREN TANNE, Co-Publisher of WEC

karen tanneKaren Tanne, COO and co-publisher of WomensEducation Center.com has an extensive background in marketing, sales, business development and operations management. Karen was born and raised on Long Island, New York.

Karen moved to South Florida in the mid 90’s and went to work in the non profit world for a community based organization advocating for children and families. While there she conducted parent advocacy workshops and worked in community outreach and community development planning fundraising events. Sha gained knowledge on the inner working of a large non profit organization.  In her spare time she volunteered as community liaison for the Million Mom March. Karen continues to support organizations advocating for women and children. 

She worked as a marketing professional in the financial services industry and as a sales operations manager for a well known computer software company. Karen caught the internet marketing bug about 7 years ago. She has vast understanding and experience in internet marketing specializing in lead generation, publisher services, operations management and affiliate marketing.

She has managed teams in the internet marketing field and is currently working in partner relations and business development for a well known online real estate marketing corporation. She is a single mother and lives in Boca Raton, Florida.
